Seminar in a Fruit Shop

Shanghai, 2021

You and Me in Design - Seminar in a Fruit Shop addresses the subject of sharing ownership of design between the designer and the end-user. The project centers around the question How can design continuously create relevancy in our time. As the research fellow in Design Curation with Design Trust/RCA, I proposed that design relevancy can come from designers sharing their ownership of creativity – first through a process of co-creation with the creator, and secondly by embedding creative agency in the final product. As part of my curatorial research, I organized a series of workshops and curated an exhibition to test my hypothesis.
